Sinclair & Rush is proud to announce the launch of our brand-new Return & Recycle Scheme for Schools across the UK!
We’ve listened to feedback and created a simple, free way for schools to recycle worn-out plastic chair feet after fitting replacements. For years, we’ve been helping schools extend the life of classroom furniture and flooring—creating quieter, safer learning spaces. Now, we’re going a step further by making the disposal of used plastic parts more sustainable.
With immediate effect, we’ll collect your old plastic chair feet—at no extra cost—and ensure they are processed for recycling rather than sent to landfill. ♻️
How It Works:
- We’ll accept internal or external chair feet made from LDPE or HDPE (Low or High-Density Polyethylene), which covers the majority of standard chair feet used in UK schools.
- Simply repack the old chair feet into the boxes we send with your new order and contact us to arrange a free collection.
- We’ll collect one return box for every box sent out, as part of any qualifying order of replacement school chair feet.

If you already have boxes ready for collection, just email our Customer Service Team at ukcustomerservice@sinclair-rush.co.uk to receive your shipping label and we’ll arrange for our courier to collect them.
This scheme makes it easier than ever to support circular manufacturing. The returned parts will be ground down into reusable pellets, helping to create part-recycled materials for future use.
“I’m really proud to see this initiative, first discussed by our Eco-Committee, come to life. These small steps really add up, and now schools all over the UK can recycle waste plastic feet with ease. I could only work for a plastics manufacturer with a clear conscience, knowing we’re taking environmental responsibility seriously.”
— Millie, Eco-Committee Founder
